Wisconsin Pyramid Model Trainings

The Wisconsin Pyramid Model courses provide critical information about social emotional development in young children. Courses are important for providers, though not required for regulation, and include:

Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards

The Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards course outlines developmental expectations for children from birth to first grade. This course is important for providers, but not required for regulation.

Strengthening Families with Mandated Reporter

The Strengthening Families course identifies five protective factors that represent the essential qualities and resources that families need to support the well-being of their children and deal more effectively with the challenges and stresses of life. Mandated Reporter training is also included with this course and is required for regulation.

Delivery Methods

Virtual – Training is online through the use of a video conferencing platform (example: Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc.). Participants must attend/log on during the specific scheduled date(s) and time(s). Training content is delivered in real time.

Online/Self-Paced – Training is offered entirely online through a Learning Management System (LMS), participants complete the training on their own time, within a specific date range. Participants my reach out to the Trainer for assistance. ECExplorer is the Learning Management System utilized by the CCR&R Network.

Blended – Training time is split between online/self-paced and another delivery method, such as in-person or virtual.

Accessing the Course

After you have signed up for a course being offered on ECExplorer, the course facilitator will enroll you in the course. You will receive an email from System-No Reply as shown below with the name of the training in the subject line.

The email will include a link for you to access the course directly along with your username. If this is the first time you have accessed ECExplorer you will need to reset your password once logged in. If you have previously taken a course on ECExplorer, you can use the same username and password. If you have problems accessing the course, please email your course facilitator
