The Strengthening Families initiative is a strength-based approach to preventing child abuse and neglect. Strengthening Families is a Center for the Study of Social Policy initiative that uses research-based evidence to determine what factors really reduce child abuse and neglect. This training explores the connection between factors that prevent child abuse and neglect and what quality early childhood programs can do to support them. This course is self-paced for participants to complete within a 7-day period. Participants will earn 3 hours of Registry approved continuing education hours.

All participants will receive an email from UW-Platteville prior to the course start date to obtain login information and a password.

(This training is hosted by 4-C, an SFTA member and part of the WI CCR&R statewide network)
