Once Upon a Book Drive is an annual effort on behalf of SFTA, our members, and our community partners, to collect and distribute quality children’s books to child care programs in need across Wisconsin. The drive will run from June 15th through August 31st. We accept new or gently used books that contain educational, appropriate content for children from ages 0 to 12, with a larger focus on books for children ages 0 to 5. We will be setting up book drop-off points across the state that will be posted to our site as soon as they are available, as will printable fliers and events associated with our drive. Stay tuned for updates in the months before the drive on our Once Upon a Book Drive web page. Meanwhile, browse our book lists to give you ideas of books to donate when the time comes!
