Abusive Head Trauma Prevention Training of Trainers
For Child Care & Non-Child Care Professionals
The Abusive Head Trauma Prevention – Training of Trainers is for those individuals who have previously completed an Abusive Head Trauma Prevention Training and are interested in training others. After completing the Abusive Head Trauma Prevention – Training of Trainers, your name and contact information will be submitted to the Department of Children and Families. Your information will be listed on the list of DCF-Approved Trainers.
Procedures for Becoming an Approved AHT Trainer
1. Have completed an in-person, virtual, or online approved AHT Prevention Training.
View the Supporting Families Together Association Training Calendar, visit the Wisconsin Registry for a schedule of upcoming in-person or virtual AHT Prevention Training, or complete the free online department-approved AHT Prevention Training for Child Care Providers.
2. Attend an in-person, virtual, or online AHT Prevention Training of Trainers.

3. Complete the AHT Prevention Trainer Agreement.
The AHT Prevention Trainer Agreement is available here and will be provided during the AHT Prevention Training of Trainers. All agreements must be submitted to the trainer within two business days from the close of the training. Once you have submitted your trainer agreement, you will receive an email with your Certificate of Completion and the Procedures for Approved Trainers.

2. Asista a una capacitación de capacitadores en prevención de HTA en persona, virtual o en línea.
