Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) Network
The CCR&R network offers a wide variety of services that are tailored to meet the local and statewide needs of families, early childhood educators, child care programs, local organizations, and communities. Trainers at each of the CCR&Rs meet the Wisconsin Registry Professional Development Approval System (PDAS) requirements for training. All trainers also have unique expertise in both early childhood education and teaching strategies for adult leaners to ensure the highest quality training experience

Strengthening Families with Mandated Reporter
The Strengthening Families course identifies five protective factors that represent the essential qualities and resources that families need to support the well-being of their children and deal more effectively with the challenges and stresses of life. Mandated Reporter training is also included with this course and is required for regulation.

Delivery Methods
In-Person – Training is held in person at a specific physical location. Participants must be in attendance during the scheduled date(s) and time(s).
Virtual – Training is online through the use of a video conferencing platform (example: Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc.). Participants must attend/log on during the specific scheduled date(s) and time(s). Training content is delivered in real time.
Online/Self-Paced – Training is offered entirely online through a Learning Management System (LMS), participants complete the training on their own time, within a specific date range. Participants my reach out to the Trainer for assistance. ECExplorer is the Learning Management System utilized by the CCR&R Network.
Blended – Training time is split between online/self-paced and another delivery method, such as in-person or virtual.
Online/Self-Paced Learning using ECExplorer
ECExplorer, is the online learning platform utilized by the Child Care Resource & Referral Network. ECExlorer allows participants to learn and completed courses where and when it’s convenient for them during the defined time frame. A training facilitator is assigned to each course, they will monitor course progress, discussions, grading assignments and providing feedback when appropriate.
Accessing the Course
After you have signed up for a course being offered on ECExplorer, the course facilitator will enroll you in the course. You will receive an email from System-No Reply as shown below with the name of the training in the subject line.

The email will include a link for you to access the course directly along with your username. If this is the first time you have accessed ECExplorer you will need to reset your password once logged in. If you have previously taken a course on ECExplorer, you can use the same username and password. If you have problems accessing the course, please email your course facilitator
